Elleci Spa has completed the requalification of the entire roof, where fiber‑cement asbestos panels were previously present. This was a significant project carried out in several phases due to the large surface area of approximately 10,000 m². The fiber‑cement asbestos panels were replaced with a suspended ceiling made of sandwich panels and 200 mm glass‑wool insulation, topped with a final covering of pre‑painted corrugated metal sheets.
The new roof will ensure improved internal insulation, greatly enhancing the microclimate within the facility to the benefit of all workers.
This important investment confirms the company’s commitment to protecting workers’ health by ensuring safe and properly equipped working environments.
